FAQ
What wood-based materials do you mainly supply?
We specialize in gypsum boards, calcium silicate boards, mineral wool boards, fire-retardant plywood, cement boards, fireproof boards, waterproof boards, light-gauge steel studs & tracks, painted steel studs & tracks, and acoustic insulation materials — covering complete ceiling and partition systems for fireproof and waterproof projects.
What are the typical applications of these materials?
Widely used in suspended ceilings and partition systems for commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, schools, factories, and residential projects. Mineral wool boards are ideal for acoustic control; fireproof and waterproof boards are required in high-fire-rated areas such as equipment rooms, kitchens, basements, etc.
What is the difference between gypsum boards and calcium silicate boards?
Gypsum boards are made from calcined gypsum — lightweight and easy to work with, suitable for indoor dry areas. Calcium silicate boards are made from siliceous and calcareous materials through autoclaving — offering higher strength, better moisture and weather resistance, ideal for humid environments and exterior linings. Both perform well in fire resistance, but calcium silicate boards offer superior durability.
How effective is mineral wool board in sound absorption?
Mineral wool boards offer excellent sound absorption, with an NRC typically between 0.50 and 0.80, making them ideal for conference rooms, theaters, and corridors where reverberation control is needed. Combined with painted steel studs & tracks, the overall acoustic performance can be further enhanced.
What fire ratings do fire-retardant plywood and fireproof boards have?
Fire-retardant plywood is treated with flame retardants, typically achieving Class B1 (difficult to ignite). Fireproof boards (e.g., fiber-reinforced cement boards, calcium silicate boards) can reach Class A1 or A2 (non-combustible), meeting various building fire codes. Specific ratings should be confirmed with product test reports.
How does waterproof board work? Can it be submerged long-term?
Waterproof boards incorporate water-repellent additives or surface coatings to resist moisture, suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, and basements. However, prolonged direct immersion is not recommended — for long-term submerged conditions, cement boards or specialized water-resistant panels should be used.
What are the features of light-gauge steel studs vs. painted steel studs? How to choose?
Light-gauge steel studs (galvanized) offer high load-bearing capacity, mainly used in partition walls and heavy-duty ceiling systems. Painted steel studs feature a baked paint finish for aesthetic appeal and enhanced rust resistance, commonly used in exposed grid mineral wool ceiling systems for offices and high-visibility spaces.
What types of acoustic insulation materials are available? How is performance measured?
We offer glass wool boards/felts, rock wool boards, soundproofing mats, and damping underlayments. Performance is primarily measured by Weighted Sound Reduction Index (Rw in dB). For partition systems, Rw ≥ 45 dB is good, Rw ≥ 50 dB is excellent. Combined systems (board + insulation + sealing) deliver the best results.
Can you provide samples? Is there a charge?
Yes, small-size samples (e.g., 300×300 mm) are available. The first sample is usually free, with shipping costs to be covered by the recipient. We recommend sample confirmation before bulk orders.
What certifications do your products have?
We can provide ISO 9001 quality management certification, fire test reports (issued by national fire testing centers), and type test reports in compliance with GB/T 9775 (gypsum boards), GB/T 7019 (calcium silicate boards), etc. CE certification is available for export products.
Do you offer OEM/ODM? Can packaging be customized?
Yes, we support OEM/ODM production according to your specified dimensions, thicknesses, and grades. Neutral packaging or custom packaging with your brand logo and labels is available.
How can I get a quotation? What information do you need?
Please provide product name, dimensions, thickness, quantity (square meters or sheets), whether cutting/fabrication is needed, and delivery address. Send to our email or message us via online platform, and we will reply with a quotation within 1 business day.
What trade terms and payment methods are available?
We support EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, and other Incoterms. Main shipping ports are Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Ningbo. Payment methods include T/T and L/C. For domestic clients, corporate bank transfer or contract-based payment terms are available.
What is the lead time for standard products?
Stock items can be shipped within 3–5 days. Orders requiring custom cutting take about 7–10 days. Large-volume or special-size orders require approximately 15–20 days. Lead times may vary during peak seasons.
Can I mix different models in one order?
Yes, we allow mixing multiple specifications in one shipment to facilitate consolidated procurement and reduce logistics costs.
What shipping methods do you offer?
Domestically, we use dedicated logistics lines or full-truck delivery. For export, shipping by sea, air, or express is available. Large panels are best shipped by sea or land; small sample quantities can go by courier.
Do you provide installation guidance or technical documents?
Yes, we provide product installation manuals, construction guidelines, and detail drawings. Remote technical guidance or on-site technical clarification can also be arranged depending on project scale.
What is the typical material wastage rate? Any cost-saving tips?
For standard ceiling and partition installation, the wastage rate for gypsum/calcium silicate boards is around 5%–8%, and up to 10%–15% for irregular areas. We recommend preparing a layout plan in advance, using standard-size panels where possible, and ordering studs & tracks according to the module layout to minimize waste.
What should I do if there is a quality issue?
If any manufacturing defect is found (e.g., deformation, damage, out-of-tolerance dimensions), please provide photo or video evidence within 7 days of receipt. We will arrange a return, replacement, or re-shipment after verification. Warranty period is as per the contract.
Can I visit your factory? How do I contact you?
